Green-IT conference at INNOVA 2010
ADJUGO invited to participate to EU's innovation conference and to speak over "Green-ICT for Greener organisations: the case of Smart Work Centres".Smart Work Center is a next step in the way we work. A recent Yankee Group Survey “The Future of Work” shows that ‘from the employee perspective the single best improvement by an employer impacting productivity is to enable working from home’. However, most organizations lack the proper use of ubiquitous connectivity, smart application of the right technology, an adaptive HR policy and a highly collaborative culture.
The SWCs will not only provide technological services that help to facilitate and optimize work processes but also a wider range of human services that helps to optimize other aspects of people’s lives. The SWC has ecological benefits, and enables better collaboration and improves productivity

Adjugo supports the IT Centre for Brussels' Region in their efforts to becoming a green organisation and a leader in Green-IT initiatives. Adjugo has performed a Green IT Quick Scan and has given key recommendations regarding the Green-IT Strategy of the Organisation. Recently Adjugo was asked to become their counsellor to guide them through their implementation efforts in 2010. Thanks to these quick win actions, the IT Centre will immediately start to reduce its environmental footprint and electricity bill. This organisation is one of the very first in Belgium to launch a Green-IT Strategy and Governance project.- GreenIt
ADJUGO supports the « Code of Conduct on Data Centres » of the European Commission
ADJUGO is now officially an « Endorser » of the « EU Code of Conduct on Data Centres ». ADJUGO is the first IT-governance company in the Benelux to receive this qualification. As an Endorser, ADJUGO has already added the CoC to its training offering: « The Benefits of Green-It Governance ». The Company also proposes an array of services to support its customers in implementing, adhering and monitoring « CoC Best Practices and metrics », including instructions for the IT purchasing department.- GreenIt
Adjugo is speaker at Siemens
Siemens welcomed Adjugo at its "Open Minds CIO Event for the Industry Sector". « Open Minds CIO Events » are meetings organised worldwide by Siemens in order to let a group of CIO from a specific sector to come together and discuss specific subjects. One of the two strategic subjects of the 10 march event was "The Green Enterprise" with Adjugo as guest speaker.- GreenIt
Green-IT Endorsement from European Commission

European Commission launches Code of Conduct for datacenter
The European Commission recently launced a Code of Conduct for datacenters. This code of conduct is one of the first pre-legislative documents issued by the European Commission. It is expected that more (and more restictive) standards will be issued in the nearby future.- GreenIt
Green-IT at Gemeente Alkmaar (NL)
In January 2009 Adjugo, together with its partner Groene-ICT, has supported Gemeente Alkmaar in their efforts to becoming a green organisation. Adjugo has acted as sparring partner with the objective to come to a balanced roadmap of future green initiatives.- GreenIt

Partnership with Astrance
Adjugo has concluded a strategic partnership with the French company Astrance. Astrance is a consultancy firm offering green services, including green buildings, green supply chain and green products & operations. It now adds a fourth 'ecosystem' Green-IT.
